Instant Healthy Skin Care Strategies Anyone Can Use
Ever wonder how to start a healthy skin care routine that doesn’t involve the usual 12 step process? Good news, because whether you’re 20 or 60 years old, male or female, we all want to have healthy skin, look our best and these three strategies can certainly help you out!
We all don’t want to look old before our time. The onset of droopy or saggy skin, blemishes, and dry wrinkled skin is just not healthy skin care it’s, in one word, depressing.
You probably have wondered how on earth a person that’s 40 years old looks 25 yet a different 40 years old person looks 60. Yes, it could be in their genes, however, most scientists generally agree that genetics probably don’t play any more than a 10% role when it comes to our health or appearance as we age.
So, what are the instant healthy skin care strategies that determine how we look and feel as we age?
Here are three healthy skin strategies anyone can use:
1) Healthy Diet
"You are what you eat" as the saying goes and it’s still true. Eating processed foods that are lacking nutrients leads to poor looking skin, not to mention poor health. By not getting the right amounts of essential nutrients daily, your skin over time looses collagen and elastin.
Therefore, you should protect your healthy skin (and health) from the inside out! Just eat a well-balanced diet…but, if you find that your diet is lacking in essential nutrients you can always add quality supplements.
2) Healthy Exercise
Believe it or not but healthy exercise does play a role in a healthy skin care plan. Reasonable exercise, you don’t need to be a fanatic because you just have to keep everything functioning properly and flexible.
3) Healthy Skin Care Ingredients
Even skin care products have ingredients that are healthier than others to use. For instance, products which contain parabens, dioxane, or mineral oil are far less healthy for you and your skin than ingredients that are found in natural skin care products. However, not all products labeled "natural" are and that’s why reading the label and doing a bit of research is worth the time.
I’ll give you a head start, here are a few healthy ingredients to look for in skin care products:
Phytessence Wakame — Natural? You bet…it’s a variety of kelp (native to the Japanese Sea). It’s rich in: sodium, iron, potassium, calcium PLUS B-group vitamins. Here’s what it does for you skin:
increases skin elasticity
slows down the activity of hyaluronidase (an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid in the skin)
Cynergy TK — Again, you’re wondering if this substance is natural. Yes…it’s extracted from the wool of New Zealand sheep. This is an exciting ingredient to be part of a skin care product because it’s almost like applying a liquid skin to your face and body. Here’s some of the things it does for your skin:
boost production of collagen and elastin
increase production of new skin cells
improve skin hydration and elasticity
reduce fine lines and wrinkles
Since Cynergy TK and Phytessence Wakame are extremely new and only currently used by small niche skin care companies, they’re practically unheard of in the Western world.
So, go ahead and start your healthy skin care routine. By understanding and implementing the three strategies outlined in this article, you and your skin are well on the way to looking and feeling younger…and making people wonder what your true age really is!

The Best Men’s Skin Care Tips
It’s unbelievable. Some of the men’s skin care tips that I have seen can cause a prematurely aged appearance. Others are detrimental to your overall health. Still others are simply not beneficial. Here are a few suggestions if you want to look your best for life. And, who doesn’t?
Use Natural Cleansers
If you’re like most men, you’re using some antibacterial soap that contains triclosan. No matter how much you perspire or how dirty your work environment, triclosan is doing nothing to help you and may be detrimental to your health. It is definitely detrimental to the environment, because it is not bio-degradable.
Do you like to fish? If you do, you and your buddies will stop using anything that contains triclosan. It’s killing the fish.
If you have concerns about infection or illness, you should know that triclosan does nothing to kill viruses and staph bacteria are becoming resistant to it. A lot of us writers have been trying to get the word out by including it in men’s skin care tips, but it’s still a big seller.
Try manuka honey bars or tea tree oil. Use colloidal oatmeal, if you feel that you need a little scrub. But, it is actually the "act" of cleansing that removes dirt and germs, not the cleanser.
Sunscreens May Not Be Beneficial
Most of these are also believed to be bad for the environment and if they are absorbed, they cause free radical damage, the same thing caused by UV rays from the sun. Most men’s skin care tips still suggest the daily use of sunscreen. I recommend vitamin B5, because it promotes tanning. A tan is the skin’s natural protection against sunburn and UV damage. Wear a hat and use a zinc oxide sun-block on the tops of your ears. Zinc oxide does not penetrate and is not bad for the environment. It’s a naturally occurring substance.
Use a Moisturizer after Shaving
Use a natural shaving lubricant too, like grape seed or olive oil. After you shave, use an anti-aging moisturizer that contains the protein keratin. Look for a cream that contains both keratin and witch hazel, a natural antiseptic that prevents infection in shaving nicks and cuts.
Most men’s skin care tips suggest the use of petroleum-based alcohols as after-shaves. If you want age spots, go ahead and use them. If you want to protect your appearance, use witch hazel.
Give Your Face & Body Some Nourishment
The natural cleansers and ingredients that provide protection from burning, as well as the natural moisturizers and shaving lubricants mentioned in this article all contain nutrients. The skin’s cells are not much different from those of the rest of your body. They may be literally starving.
Make no mistake about it, with protein-rich moisturizers, antioxidant-rich creams and shaving lubricants, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and other nutrients, you can look like a model or at least close to it. These men’s skin care tips, in case you hadn’t noticed, are good for your body and good for your skin’s health. Remember that healthy skin is beautiful skin and you’re half way there.

The Routine Of Good Skin Care
Good personal skin care is following a routine or a procedure for attending to the needs of your skin. We all know the importance of ?personal skin care?. The opinion on how-to (for personal skin care) differs from person to person. Some people believe that going to beauty parlors every other day is personal skin care. Others believe that personal skin care is just a matter of applying some cream or lotion on your skin, every now and then. Many people think that personal skin care is an event that happens once a month or year and there are others that busy themselves with ?personal skin care? all the time. A good skin care routine is not that complicated and neither is it that expensive considering its benefits.
Before you begin with any skin care routine you need to make sure you choose the correct products. There are many of them on the market and it is a wise choice to test them and be positive that they will not harm your skin. Everyone?s skin is different so each of you may have different needs. Some may have oily, others may have dry. There are also many people that have very sensitive skin. So testing is something that is highly recommended. For those of you that have normal skin, here are a few routine tips that you can follow.
Cleansing is the first process in the routine. Cleansers are made up of three main ingredients, Oil, Water, and Surfactants. The Oil and Surfactants extract the dirt from your skin and the water flushes it away, leaving your skin clean and beautiful. There are a couple of things that you should remember when cleansing. Always make sure that you use a soap-free cleanser. Always use luke warm water instead of hot or cold water. Soap, hot water and cold water can harm your skin. Over cleansing can also harm your skin, so make sure you use things moderately.
Exfoliation is the second step. Exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells from your skin. Your skin is always producing new skin cells to repair itself but the old cells are left on your skin. So it is important to remove these. For normal skin, this process should be done four to five times per week, for dry skin try just a couple times a week. Exfoliation clears the path for moisturizes. Without this process the dead skin cells will absorb most of the moisturizer leaving your new skin cells unprotected.
Moisturizing is the next step. Even people with oily skin need to moisturize their skin. Moisturizers help seal the moisture into your skin; it also helps to attract moisture from the air. This is the main key to keeping your skin soft and smooth. It is possible to over moisturize your skin, so be sure to be moderate in your usage. Over moisturizing can clog your skin pores leaving it damaged. Within a week you should know exactly how much moisturizer you should use for your needs. Hint: moisturizers work best when your skin is damp.
The last process in the personal skin care routine is sunscreen. Dermatologists recommend that everyone where sunscreen every day, whether the sun is out or not. Many moisturizers come with UV protection built right in so you receive double benefits and one less step when you use them.
Once again, always test your products before using large amounts of them on your skin. Find out which products suit you best. What works for one may not always be the case for others. If you have severe sensitivity of the skin, check with your dermatologist first. Get their opinion before you start using any product. It is your skin, so make sure you take care of it.

A Quick Anti-aging Skin Care Guide
Have you ever wondered if you could get back the soft skin of your youth, what difference it would make to your life? Would you feel more confident, happier, in touch with your young spirit? Well, here is a quick anti aging skin care guide which will help you do just that. First we must understand what causes our skin to lose its shine and firmness as we age. There are multiple factors at play here.
The primary factor is that the production of Collagen and Elastin (two essential proteins that make up our skin) slows down in our bodies as we age. This causes the skin to wrinkle and sag in places. It also starts losing its essential oils as we get older.
While exposure to sun light provides our bodies with Vitamin D, too much exposure can actually cause harm. The UV rays present in sun light affect the production of Hyaluronan in our skin. Hyaluronan is essential for its elasticity and smoothness.
What to Do
The best anti aging skin care treatment will take care of all of these problems in a natural, holistic manner. Here are a few basic tips for skin care:
a) Drink plenty of water: Our skin consists of approximately 70% water. Drinking water will not only keep it nourished, it will improve other bodily functions also.
b) Moisturize: Apply a good, natural moisturizer on your face and gently massage to get it absorbed deep inside.
c) Avoid over exposure to the sun. Apply a sun screen if you are going to be out in the sun for extended periods of time.
An anti aging skin care guide will be incomplete without touching upon the organic ingredients essential for a youthful skin.
When evaluating a skin care product, you should look for ingredients which enhance the production of Collagen and Elastin in the body. Cynergy TK has been clinically proven to do so. It is also a good sign if the anti aging skin care treatment you are using includes plant based oils such as avocado and macadamia. These oils hydrate the skin naturally without using any harsh chemicals.
Grapeseed oil is another natural substance which is very good for skin health. It is a powerful antioxidant and helps fight the damage caused by free radicals. It also helps preserve moisture by forming a thin, invisible film on the surface of the skin.
So there you have it. All the information you need to start your skin care regiment and to find the right skin care product. If you follow this anti aging skin car guide, you will have your adolescent skin back in no time.

Skincare – Do’s And Don’ts For Anti-aging Skin Care
Anti-aging skin care forms a very important part of your skin care regimen. You don’t have to wait until you notice your first wrinkle to start thinking about anti-aging skin care. Rather an anti-aging regimen is better started in the late 20’s so that visible signs of aging can be delayed at that point itself.
For your anti-aging skin care regimen to be really effectivethere are some things you should do and there are some things you should refrain from. Here is a list of some of these do’s and don’ts.
DO’S
Use Products that contain AHAs & BHAs
AHA’s (Alpha-Hydroxy Acids) and BHAs (known commonly as retinols) are very powerful ingredients to combat the appearance of aging and improve the skin texture. AHAs scrape off dead skin cells and reduce wrinkles and fine lines on the skin.
Exfoliate at least Once a Week
Use a good exfoliate or exfoliating lotion and make sure to rid your skin off dead cells at least once a week. People with oily skin or combination should use chemical exfoliators like glycolic acid or salicylic acid. People with sensitive skin should use scrubs found in microdermabrasives.
Use Eye Creams Religiously
Eyes are the first place to show signs of aging. This is because the skin around the eyes is much more delicate, fragile and sensitive than the skin on the rest of your body and thus starts to showthe signs of deterioration earliest. Make sure you apply a good eye cream daily, either in the day or at night. If you are using one for the day, it would be good to use one that has an SPF content as well.
You can try using Obagi ELASTIderm Day Eye Gel or Obagi ELASTIderm Night Eye Cream. There are also some good eye creams in the iS Clinical line such as iS Clinical C Eye Advance and iS Clinical Eye Complex.
Use Products that contain Antioxidants
Antioxidants are the most powerful ingredients to fight the signs of aging. They are found in green tea and beta carotenes and work to eliminate wrinkles, fine lines and enhance the quality of sagging skin. They protect the skin against free radical damage and improve the skins overall quality.
Use anti-aging skin care products like NeoCutis Journee Bio-restorative Day Cream and iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum that contain a potent blend of antioxidants coupled with other active ingredients to help enhance the skin quality.
Don’ts
Rub Hard on the Skin
When you apply skin care products, when you exfoliate or when you dry your skin after rinsing, make sure you don’t rub hard against your skin. Aging skin is exoposed to harsh UV rays, pollution and carbon monoxide. Don’t stress it further by pulling on it. Just dab on skin care products lightly and pat the skin dry afterwards.
Forget to Moisturize
The most common reason people skip moisturizing is because they have oily skin. However, there is a grave misconception that oily skin doesn’t require moisture. There is a difference between moisture and oil. And oily skin requires moisture as well. Therefore, don’t give up on moisturizing ever, even if you have oily skin or if the humidity is high..
Ignore Dcollet
Your neck and chest also have thinner and more delicate skin as compared to the skin on the rest of your body. Therefore they exhibit the signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines much earlier like your eyes. So, make sure you use your anti-aging skin care products on your neck and chest areas as well. Moreover, don’t forget to moisturize the areas well. It’s no use having a flawless face if your neck shows your actual age.
Forget the Sunscreen
Winter is no reason you should skip sunscreen. your skin is vulnerable to the harsh sun rays all the time, even on cloudy days. Therefore, don’t forget to apply sunscreen whenever you venture out in the sun. Prolonged or unprotected sun exposure can cause grave sun damage and even lead to skin cancer. Slather on sunscreen about 15-20 minutes before you go out in the sun and reapply it every 3-4 hours.

Best Acne Products – How To Pick The Right Acne Skin Care
Acne is a common skin condition that plagues thousands of people all over the world. Because there are so many afflicted persons, it makes sense for health companies to develop and produce miracle cures to deal with the condition fast and effectively. However, because there are so many products in the market already, just how do you choose the best acne products from the mediocre ones?
Best is actually a state of mind, to some extent. This is because a certain acne product that works for you might not work for another afflicted person at all. This is because the human body is as individual as it should be, and acne products can bring forth varying effects across many people. Thus, if you want to narrow down your choices to find the best one, the wise thing to do is to consider a number of factors first.
Your skin type is a huge factor in finding the best amongst acne products. Is your skin oily, or is it dry? Is it sensitive? All skin types actually have formulas that have been specially developed to deal with them accordingly. So the first thing you and your dermatologist should do is determine your skin type. Once this is determined, you can then start browsing through the different acne products available.
The key here is to choose a product that is made up of ingredients that will not do anything to aggravate your condition. If you use a product that can only worsen your condition, you are actually defeating the purpose of finding the best treatment all on your own. For instance, if your skin is oily, then it would not make sense to get acne skin products that have a lot of moisturizers. These products are more appropriate for dry skin. People who have sensitive skin should look for acne products that are mild. These are the products have just a few chemicals that are not harsh in nature.
Also, when you are looking for the best acne solution to use, you should also take note of the possible allergic reactions that might occur. Some people are actually allergic to products that are alcohol-based. If you are one of these people, then you might suffer from breakouts that look like rashes, as an allergic reaction. The only way to avoid this unpleasant scenario is to have a skin expert assess your skin. Skin tests might be administered here. Medications you have taken in the past should also be disclosed.
Lastly, and most importantly, seek the medical advice of dermatologists. These are experts in their field so they would know how to determine which would be considered the best acne products for different skin conditions.
